The installation of Kalabhairava

Kalabhairava, Tantra, Puja, Kala

At IFC-Mahavidya we just completed the installation of Lord Kalabhairava, A Tantra God of protection. For the past 45 days of offering special puja to him, with Yajna to begin the installation and another two days of Yajna to complete the installation. Both Shri Param Eswaran and Shri Devanayagi assisted by two priest preformed yajna to complete the installation process. It was a powerful yajna.  Below you will find photos of the Yajna and puja.
 

Kala means time as such he an aspect of Lord Shiva controls the growth and management of time. Kalabhairava vehicle is a dog, like all other Tantric Gods and Goddess. Whoever wants to spend, manage or ration their time in a proper manner should worship him. He protects all his devotees during their travels through the continual process of births and death.

Kalabhairava is the God who is also known as the protector of Benares, like wise he is also the protector of Inter Faith Charitable center in South India. Offering daily puja to him protects the environment around the center from unwanted spirits and most important of all negative environmental mental pollution directed toward the center and people who live and study here.

He is also considered as the guardian of Lord Shiva temples. Each day after locking the doors of the temple, the keys are ceremonially offered to Bhairava and taken back in most Shiva temples.

Shri Param Eswaran will be touring the US, Italy and Australia for the next 4 months offering Tantra workshops and Para-Tan healing circles, and on his return we will installing both Shri Nageswari and Shiva Lingam. The Shiva Lingam represents the union of Male and Female energy, where both Shiva and Sakthi are worshiped, a very powerful Tantric Icon.
